The Reader's Digest Trust Survey, in which 1,000 people were asked to rate how much they trusted 100 stars and professionals on a scale of one to ten, found that cricket star Warne is the least trusted, while child health researcher Fiona Stanley topped the list.
A statement from the publication read: "The top ten is dominated by people who 'care and protect', while the tail end of the field is full of politicians, businessmen and controversial sports figures."
Other celebs featured in the bottom ten include sports agent Ricky Nixon, movie star Mel Gibson and former footballer Brendan Fevola.
Fevola recently spent time in a rehabilitation centre after admitting to a gambling and alcohol addiction. He has since split from his wife Alex and launched his radio career last month.
Gibson caused controversy last year when former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva accused him of attacking her. She later dropped all charges.
Prime Minister Julia Gillard came in 97th place in the list, five spots behind the last country's leader Kevin Rudd.
The survey also asked Australians to name the most trusted professions. Paramedics took the top spot, while the least trusted workers included telemarketers, taxi drivers and real estate agents.
