Bono turns editor for charity

U2 frontman Bono will edit The Independent newspaper for a day in an attempt to raise awareness about the the AIDS problem in Africa.
The singer is reportedly already commissioning articles and offering ideas for the edition that will be released on May 16.
Half of the paper's takings that day will be donated to Product Red, Bono's foundation for improving health care in Africa.
A spokesperson for Bono said: "He is tickled to be let loose on such a great paper. He's enjoying using the talents of its journalists to explore issues that are vital to him."
