Fielder-Civil and his accomplice Christopher Sylvester, 29, of Roundhay Park, Leeds, were sentenced at Leeds crown court for raiding the Rawdon home of Paul Maplesden on February 28.
Jewellery worth £4,000 and electrical goods were found in the boot of the men's car by police who had stopped them after they had been seen acting suspiciously, BBC News reports.
A fake handgun was also found under the passenger seat but was not used in the burglary, which took place while the victim was at work.
Sentencing, Judge Scott Wolstenholme said: "This case illustrates the depth people will sink when in the grip of heroin addiction.
"It is no comfort to people who are preyed on by drug addicts that the people preying on them are drug addicts."
Fielder-Civil, 29, of Sleaford Lincolnshire married singer Winehouse in May 2007 but the couple divorced two years later.
