Ou Est Le Swimming Pool singer death ruled as suicide

Ou Est Le Swimming Pool singer Charles Haddon killed himself by hanging backstage at the Pukkelpop festival in Belgium last year, a coroner has ruled.

It was initially claimed that 22-year-old Haddon had died after falling from a satellite mast.

Haddon was reportedly troubled after injuring a female fan during the gig when he landed heavily on her.

Coroner Anne Pember recorded a verdict of suicide, noting that Haddon was "deeply upset" by the incident, Metro reports.

Haddon had apparently spoken to the fan's father, who said that his daughter had suffered three damaged vertebrae in the collision.
