Buzz Aldrin sued by estranged wife, stepdaughter

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin is being sued by his estranged wife Lois Driggs Cannon and his stepdaughter Lisa Cannon over a business dispute.

Aldrin filed for divorce from his spouse Lois last week, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the split.

Now Lois and her daughter have claimed in a breach of contract filing that the former Dancing with the Stars contestant is trying to cut ties with StarBuzz, a licensing company owned by all three principals, according to The Insider.

The Cannons contend that licensing agreements secured by StarBuzz helped introduce the NASA astronaut to a new generation of fans.

Their suit alleges that Aldrin has encouraged business associates and financial contacts to disassociate themselves with StarBuzz.

Aldrin has not yet offered public comment on the matter.

Lois and Aldrin were married on Valentine's Day 1988, but have no children together.
