Oprah Winfrey denies OJ Simpson murder confession

The National Enquirer originally reported that Simpson made the confession during a conversation with producers from jail, and that he plans on speaking to Winfrey for a full televised interview.
However, Winfrey's representative at Harpo Productions has dismissed the rumours, saying: "It's not true."
The former NFL player is currently serving a 33-year jail term for his part in a 2007 robbery of sports memorabilia from Las Vegas's Palace Station casino.
Simpson was acquitted for double murder in his infamous trial in 1995, but was later found guilty in the wrongful deaths of Brown and Goldman in a civil proceeding. He has maintained his innocence in the years since his criminal acquittal.
He cancelled the release of the book If I Did It in 2006, which fully detailed how Simpson would have hypothetically killed Brown and Goldman. The book was eventually released in limited quantities by the Goldman family, and renamed If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer.
Oprah Winfrey recently stated that OJ Simpson would be one of her "dream" interviewees for her new chatshow on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
She said: "I have a dream of OJ Simpson confessing to me. I am going to make that happen, people.
"I don't just want the interview. I want the interview on the condition that you are ready [to confess], Mr Simpson."
