Steve Coogan is again facing scandal with allegations of cocaine binges and using prostitutes.
The People claims the comedian has been regularly visiting a brothel where he also uses drugs.
He spends nights at a London lap-dancing club, then moves on to look for prostitutes, said the paper.
It quotes various unnamed sources. "It's a peculiar existence for a famous comedian, but Steve has never been conventional," said one. "Sometimes he just can't stop. His appetite just takes over him. Steve can be driven by sex.
"It is just such a bizarre scene because he waits with other clients in the lounge and a lot of the men there know who he is. He doesn't seem to care that he is spotted."
Another commented: "It is a bizarre existence for one of Britain's biggest comics. Steve has been to this brothel at least four or five times in the last few months and he keeps going."
Coogan's 18-month marriage to socialite Caroline Hickman ended last night after accusations that he slept with two lap-dancers.
The comedian told the paper: "I've no comment to make."
