Julia Haworth marries in Burnley

Julia Haworth has married her fiancé of two years at a church in Burnley.

The Coronation Street actress – who plays Claire Peacock – wed accountant Jon Wormald in a ceremony attended by several fellow stars.

Attending Corrie crew included Steven Arnold – screen husband Ashley – Samia Smith, Kate Ford and Jane Danson.

The 21-year-old was surrounded by security on arrival at St Stephen's, which she attended as a child, having agreed a pictures deal with a magazine.

Rev Philip Chew told The People: "She has a long association with the church and it's nice she married here."
