Brad Pitt comforts Bam Margera after Ryan Dunn death

Bam Margera has revealed that Brad Pitt has personally offered him condolences following the death of his good friend Ryan Dunn.

Dunn and Zachary Hartwell were both killed earlier this week when the Jackass star crashed his Porsche in West Goshen Township, PA. Dunn was legally drunk at the time of the accident.

Margera joined his parents April and Phil as well as fellow Jackass stuntman Johnny Knoxville at a four-hour private memorial service for Dunn on Wednesday.

The Viva La Bam star has now taken to his official Twitter page to disclose that he received a personal message from Hollywood actor Pitt, who offered his sadness at Dunn's untimely passing.

Margera wrote: "Wow, just got a nice text from brad pitt concerning dunn, tnx 2 everyone for the texts, cheers me up."

Pitt famously appeared in a series of skits on MTV's Jackass, including a segment where he took part in a fake abduction.

Jackass favourite Jason 'Wee-Man' Acuna paid tribute to Dunn by getting a tattoo in his colleague's honour.
