Comedy actor Adam Sandler and his wife Jackie are celebrating the birth of their first child, a baby girl.
According to People Magazine, an announcement was made on the Happy Gilmore star's official website with a posting that exclaimed, "Kid is healthy! Wife is healthy!!"
The baby was apparently born at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles.
A name for the newborn not yet known.
