Billie Piper's hands 'too fat for wedding ring'

Billie Piper has claimed that her hands are too large to wear a wedding ring.

The former Doctor Who actress, who has been married to Lewis star Laurence Fox for four years, revealed that instead she has a tattoo of her husband's name on her hand.

Piper told the Daily Star: "My hands are massive man hands and they retain water. I had to have his name tattooed instead to prove I'm his. And to make it harder to get out of.

The 28-year-old, who has 2-year-old son Winston with Fox, recently predicted that she would not have any more children.

Since finishing her role on ITV2's Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Piper has admitted that she has struggled to find other work.
