Gwen Stefani: 'I'm surrounded by men'

Gwen Stefani has said that she recently realised she spends most of her life in the company of men, and has barely any female friends as a result.

The singer, who has two sons with husband Gavin Rossdale, claimed that being a part of No Doubt and having a family have made it
difficult to keep in contact with the few female friends
she still has.

"I'm surrounded by men!" Stefani admitted, according to Bang! Showbiz. "It's really weird, I don't know how it happened.

"I don't think about it a lot, but I do notice it when the only girlfriends I've ever really had are the girlfriends of the guys in the band. Thankfully they chose good girls to go out with."

Stefani recently admitted that she struggles to balance both family and work commitments, but tries her best to put her home life before her career.

No Doubt are currently working on their sixth studio album following Stefani's decision not to return to her solo music career.
