Jessica Simpson has revealed a brand new hairstyle during an appearance at the Alma Awards in Los Angeles.
Arriving on the red carpet wearing an orange strapless gown, the singer shocked onlookers as she appeared to have traded in her long blonde hair for a shorter red style.
However, all was not as it seemed. Simpson, 25, told Entertainment Tonight: "It's a wig! I put eyeshadow on the blonde to hide it."
The wig is apparently part of the star's new line of hair pieces due to be launched soon in the US.
