Liberty X are planning to blow £4,500 on an Indian meal before their London concert this month.

The band's management arranged the feast for the band and tour crew after being impressed when the Sundarban restaurant in Birmingham recently catered for Westlife.

Two of the restaurant's staff will be flown to London by helicopter in order to prepare the meal.

Speaking to the Mirror, chef Jilul Huq said: "Westlife loved my curries. I guess that's why the management company have asked us."

He went on to add: "I haven't decided what to make yet, but I was thinking about my favourite dish, Katala Shatkora, fish cooked in lime and spices. I will also cook chicken and lamb."

Liberty X will eat the meal before performing at the Hammersmith Palais on May 23.
