Ashlee Simpson gets a new nose

Singer Ashlee Simpson has secretly gone under the surgeon's knife in order to have a bump removed from her nose, recent reports suggest.

The star apparently visited a Beverly Hills plastic surgery clinic to add to her new look.

A friend told the National Enquirer: "Although she has always been cute, she's felt like the ugly duckling of the family compared to [sister] Jess. Every time she saw a photo or looked in a mirror, Ashlee felt there was one chief flaw glaring back at her: too prominent a nose. And she decided to do something about it."

According to the source, Ashlee is "thrilled with the results".
