The Raising Hope actor tweeted earlier today that he inadvertently managed to get a small hunting knife past airport security.
"Oops. Walked right through airport security with this little number," Dillahunt wrote, posting a picture of the knife in question.
Dillahunt's friend Office actor Rainn Wilson then jokingly tweeted in response: "Arrest this tweeter!"
In March, the 46-year-old praised his character on Raising Hope, stating that he admires Burt's loyalty.
Fox ordered a second season of Raising Hope in January.
Dillahunt described the season finale of the Fox series as "hilarious", claiming that it was one of the best half-hours of television that he'd ever seen.
