Coldplay have admitted that they are not fans of award ceremonies, despite their usual success at them.
Soft-spoken bassist Guy Berryman posted his views on the band's official website: "I hate them really – they are so chaotic and finish before you can blink. They are just showcases for record companies essentially. Our concerts are from us to the fans."
Meanwhile, he went on to reveal that the band are working on a DVD. "It will have a lot of content and will hopefully be presented as a film, rather than a 'live' performance."
