Peter Andre: 'Elen Rivas doesn't want me back'

Peter Andre has denied that his ex-girlfriend Elen Rivas wants a reunion between them.

The couple began dating last November but split in April, with Andre declaring that they would remain friends. It is the second time in as many weeks that the singer has denied that he and Rivas are back together, although he has admitted that they are "still attracted" to each other.

"Elen said in an interview last week that she wants me back but trust me, she doesn't," Andre wrote in his latest new magazine column. "She was just being her crazy Spanish señorita self and I really don't think she meant it.

"If she wanted me back I think she'd tell me to my face, rather than through an interview."

Andre continued: "There was also a story saying I've been sending topless pictures of myself to Elen and that she's told me to stop sending them unless I want to be with her. I've never sent a topless picture to Elen in my life! It's hilarious! And absolute rubbish."

Denying a third rumour, Andre also insisted that the couple do not use the word expresso as a "code word for sex".

"As if," he added. "If this was true, I'd be asking my friends to meet for sex all the time."
