Peter Andre, Amy Childs won't comment on Kerry Katona management exit

Peter Andre has declined to shed any light on events which led to Kerry Katona leaving her management company.

The former Atomic Kitten singer shared the same team at Can Associates as Andre, leading the two to form a friendship which was highlighted in their respective ITV2 series. However, Katona has now left Claire Powell's company, but denied that her exit was due to drug use.

"Everyone keeps asking me what went on between my manager Claire Powell and Kerry Katona, but it's between those two," Andre wrote in his new! column. "I haven't spoken to Kerry since but that's not unusual as we often go weeks without ringing each other.

"Kerry is still my friend but, for the last 18 months, I've seen Claire protect her with her life and she only ever had her best interests at heart. I hope Kerry knows what Claire did for her."

Andre added: "Reports say Kerry has been meeting up with [ex-partner] Mark Croft again but I have no idea if this is true or not. I just hope she knows what she's doing."

Amy Childs - who is also represented by the company - insisted that she has "no idea" what happened to cause Katona's departure.

"I don't want to get involved," the Only Way Is Essex star wrote in her magazine column. "I like Kerry and if I see her I will still be nice and say 'hello'. At the end of the day, what has happened really isn't my business."
