Proving Ground was pulled from G4's schedule after the airing of one episode following the death of Dunn and his friend Zachary Hartwell in a drink driving accident last week.
G4 has now confirmed that the remaining eight episodes of Proving Ground will be screened beginning on July 19 at 8/7c, preceded by a special edition of Attack of the Show wherein Dunn will be honoured by co-workers and friends.
Neal Tiles, G4's president, explained in a press statement that the channel's decision to revive Proving Ground was spurred by Dunn's loved ones, saying: "It was important to all of us at G4 to find a way to celebrate his life and pay tribute to him. With the support of Ryan's family, we've decided to air the remaining episodes of G4's Proving Ground and give his fans the opportunity to continue watching this series that he was so passionate about."
Proving Ground features Dunn and co-host Jessica Chobot testing whether stunts and action sequences from films, comics, video games and television programmes can be replicated in real life.
Dunn's Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville recently praised the stuntman as one of the funniest men he's ever met.
