Anna Paquin 'faced prejudice over sexuality'

Anna Paquin has spoken out about being bisexual, admitting that she has faced prejudice over the issue in the past.

The True Blood star came out last year in a public service video for the 'Give a Damn' campaign, but said that she had never felt her sexuality was particularly secret.

"Frankly no-one had ever asked me about being bisexual before," Paquin told V Magazine. "There is a lot of prejudice against us but the more people talk about it, the less of a deal it will be."

Paquin added: "Who people choose to sleep with or spend their lives with shouldn't matter, not that anyone particularly cares who I'm attracted to."

Paquin married fellow True Blood star Stephen Moyer in August 2010, who has since praised his wife's decision to discuss her sexuality in public.
