Alan Rickman to return to Broadway

The actor will star in the world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's new play Seminar later this year at the Shubert Theatre.
Rickman has previously been Tony Award-nominated for roles in 1987's Les Liaisons Dangereuses and 2002's Private Lives.
He will play a literary hero who teaches a group of four aspiring writers in a private seminar. The play will be directed by Sam Gold.
Rebeck's previous plays include The Scene, Mauritius and The Understudy.
Rickman recently joined the cast of Gambit, alongside Colin Firth and Cameron Diaz.
He also praised Harry Potter author JK Rowling and his co-stars on their work on the franchise.
