The Medical Board of California ruled earlier this month that Dr Michael Kamrava is to lose his ability to practice as of July 1 due to his role in implanting Suleman with an unsafe amount of embryos and for neglecting patients in two other cases.
Suleman has now weighed in on the medical board's decision, telling PopEater that she believes Dr Kamrava has been treated unfairly.
She said: "How could I be happy when someone has been penalised for something like this? It's sad and he doesn't deserve that."
Suleman went on to claim that she takes sole responsibility for deciding to give birth to octuplets and doesn't blame the physician for trying to help her, saying: "It's my choices that have changed my life. I have to move forward and I have to push past poisonous perspectives of other people. If I'm not, then who is going to be there for my children?"
The Octomom recently joined the cast of the celebrity dating series Celebridate.
