LeAnn Rimes: 'Family is first priority'

LeAnn Rimes has vowed to make family her number one priority following a recent holiday.

The country star and husband Eddie Cibrian recently vacationed together with Cibrian's young sons Mason and Jake in Laguna Beach, a trip which she said has helped to clarify the important things in life.

Rimes wrote on her official blog: "This past week has taught us all in our family to make enjoying more time with each other the first priority in our lives. You never know what tomorrow may bring.

"It was a very special week for us all. It takes a lot for us all to relax and shut off because we all have so many responsibilities, but for this one week, life was easy and perfect."

Rimes and Cibrian married in a small, private ceremony held in California in April.

The couple revealed after the ceremony that they worked hard to make Cibrian's children a part of the wedding in order to make their transition into a new family arrangement easier.
