The Mean Girls star completed her house arrest sentence yesterday after spending 35 days in confinement as a result of her no contest plea to the purported theft of a $2,500 (£1,547) necklace.
Lohan joined a number of friends, including Into the Wild actor Emile Hirsch, at the Lexington Social House in order to celebrate her newfound freedom, according to NewsCore.
The actress reportedly stayed sober the entire evening, drinking only soda before leaving the restaurant at about 2am local time Thursday.
Lohan's spokesperson Steve Honig assured the website that the 24-year-old is concentrating on fulfilling the terms of her probation.
"Her focus right now is resuming her community service obligation," Honig said. "She is really eager to fulfil that obligation. She takes it very seriously."
Lohan will begin her court-mandated 480 hours of community service now that she is free from house arrest. The actress will work at a homeless shelter and a morgue.
Last week, Lohan confessed that she is ready to return to work.
