The Muse frontman told Q that his experiences at Reading helped improve his sexual expertise.
"Reading was definitely a place where a lot of my early sexual experiences were. I didn't lose my virginity at Reading, I'd lost it just before. But I definitely followed through and learnt a bit more how to do it there," he explained.
The band also revealed several unpleasant memories from the festival, including how Bellamy "crapped behind a fence", and how drummer Dominic Howard had his "head smashed in and sprinkled with p*ss" in a moshpit.
Muse are due to headline the Reading and Leeds Festival this year. They will play the Friday slot (August 26) at Leeds, and will close the Reading Festival on Sunday August 28.
The 'Knights of Cydonia' band are currently working on their next album without Bellamy. The singer is taking a break from the group following his engagement to Kate Hudson and his first child with the actress.
