Kingston was released from hospital two weeks ago after being involved in a serious jet ski accident in Miami last month.
The 'Beautiful Girls' singer lost control of his jet ski while travelling at high speeds and crashed into a bridge near the city, an accident which left him hospitalised for three weeks.
However, TMZ reports that the Jamaican-American singer is keen to begin working again, and will return to the recording studio as soon as he finishes rehabilitating his wrist.
Kingston suffered a broken jaw and a fractured wrist in the accident, as well as water in his lungs, but expects to be almost back to normal in a few weeks' time.
He allegedly told close friends that he will concentrate on fully recovering before returning to music.
