Liz Hurley feels 'liberated' after Arun Nayar split

Elizabeth Hurley has said that it feels 'liberating' to no longer care what other people think of her.

The 46-year-old actress made headlines in December last year, when it emerged that she had been in a secret relationship with Australian ex-cricketer Shane Warne following her separation from ex-husband Arun Nayar.

However, Hurley said that she feels better than ever now that her four year marriage to the Indian textiles heir has ended.

"It helps to be open to new things," Hurley told Grazia magazine.

"Some close off and become more insular as they grow older. For me it's the other way. I care less what people think. It's liberating."

Hurley, who is now in a relationship with Warne, claimed that they are already struggling to cope with their long distance relationship.

The actress filed legal papers to divorce Nayar in April and the the actress's divorce became official in June.
