The LA Galaxy midfielder spoke at the launch of his club's new strip ahead of wife Victoria's anticipated Caesarian section, which is reportedly booked to take place today in Los Angeles.
Beckham told reporters at the club's press call: "We're really excited. You know, it's a whole new different thing for us.
"To have so much pink in the house, lilac in the house, and dresses... All the clothes [are] ready, the room's ready, so we're all ready for it and all excited."

Beckham further explained the significance of the baby's due date, which coincides with the 12th anniversary of his wedding, saying: "It's a special day for us, it always has been and always will be."
The couple are already parents to 12-year-old Brooklyn, 8-year-old Romeo and 6-year-old Cruz.
Beckham also told reporters that he would be keen to meet with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they visit California at the end of the week. However, he admitted that it would probably be unlikely due to the royal couple's hectic schedule.
