Jolie in 'Alexander'
Angelina Jolie and Bono are among the most generous celebrities in the world, according to a new magazine survey.
Forbes compiled the list to recognise famous people's good work, but did not rank them.
One surprise entry was Jackie Chan. The Kung Fu actor set up a foundation in 1998 which has donated $64,000 to help tsunami victims in South Asia and $100,000 to a Los Angeles homeless charity.
Perhaps the biggest star on the list is Angelina Jolie for her work with the United Nations' refugee agency, while usual suspect Bono is recognised for his campaigning on third world debt and AIDS.
Celine Dion has also been working with the UN to help refugees, and Paul McCartney's Adopt-A-Minefield initiative won him a place.
Also noted were Steven Spielberg, Nicolas Cage, Sandra Bullock, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Oprah Winfrey for her Foundation and Angel Network.
