Last week, Richards announced that she had adopted a newborn baby girl from the US, naming her Eloise Joni Richards. The Wild Things star took to Twitter last night to announce a late night feeding.
Richards wrote: "Late night feeding with little.. she just fell back asleep. (sic)," before later adding: "Oops meant little one."
Next morning, the actress tweeted about her Independence Day plans, saying that she was spending it with her family.
Richards revealed: "Hanging with the family..swimming, BBQ, great day!"
The former Bond girl, who appeared as Dr Christmas Jones opposite Piers Brosnan in The World Is Not Enough, has two daughters, 7-year-old Sam and 6-year-old Lola, from her marriage to former Two and a Half Men actor Charlie Sheen.
A source recently claimed that Richards wanted to keep the adoption a secret in order to maintain her family's privacy.
In mid-June, the 40-year-old stated that she considers her former relationship with ex-husband Sheen to be a "beautiful love story".
