BAFTA-winning actor Chris Langham has been charged on 15 counts of making indecent images of children.
The comedy star, who took home the Best Television Comedy Actor award on Sunday for his role in The Thick Of It, returned to Kent Police Station on Wednesday night to fulfill his bail conditions, set last November.
There he was met by the charges, which police say relate to "internet crime".
The 57-year-old is set to appear before magistrates in Sevenoaks on May 17.
