Dannii Minogue stalker rumours not true, says friend

Dannii Minogue is not being stalked, it has been reported.

The News of the World recently claimed that the 39-year-old Australia's Got Talent judge, whose son Ethan Smith turns one today, was "petrified" after being threatened by a "maniac female stalker". A friend of the star has now insisted that the reports are completely bogus.

"Dannii has no idea where this has come from," the source told The Daily Telegraph. "There's no truth to it whatsoever."

Minogue was believed to be too scared to attend a beauty product launch in Sydney last week, but the insider said that the star had "no intention of going" in the first place because she "has nothing to do with that product".

Minogue and partner Kris Smith were recently rumoured to be having problems after various sources claimed that they were struggling to balance their work and home lives. They later released a statement saying: "We are committed to our relationship and [son] Ethan as always."

The model then admitted that being with Minogue is "not necessarily easy" because they both work "ridiculous hours". Other reports have suggested that Smith has become tired of being treated like a member of Minogue's "staff".
