Paris Hilton 'intruder' arrested outside beach home

Paris Hilton's July 4 celebrations were briefly interrupted when a man was arrested outside her Malibu home, according to reports.

James Rainford is accused of violating a restraining order that prevents him coming within 200 yards of the socialite or her property, says The AP.

An unnamed individual is reported to have noticed a topless Rainford standing on the beach outside Hilton's home on Monday, prompting them to call the police.

Rainford was reportedly taken into custody and held on $20,000 bail.

Rainford hit the headlines in April when he attacked Hilton's then-boyfriend Cy Waits outside a Los Angeles courtroom. He was previously arrested in October 2010 for allegedly sneaking past security at Hilton's home and knocking on the front door.

Hilton has yet to comment on the incident, although she did take to her Twitter account to wish her followers a happy July 4.

"Happy 4th of July everyone! Have a fun and fabulous day! Love Paris xoxo (sic)," she wrote. "What a beautiful fireworks show and evening. In bed watching funny movies. Loves it. :)"

Hilton's reality show The World According To Paris continues Wednesdays on Oxygen.
