Ashley Tisdale denies dating Zac Efron

The two stars were photographed on the beach while celebrating Tisdale's birthday together at the actress's Malibu beach house on Saturday, sparking speculation that they are romantically involved.
Tisdale has taken to her Twitter account to deny that she and Efron are more than friends as well as assert that she and boyfriend Scott Speer are very happy together.
The Hellcats star wrote: "Don't believe all pictures. People r gonna come up with stuff to say bc it sells! I had such a great birthday party with my friends, Family, and BOYFRIEND Scott. I will not let stupid rumours ruin all the fun we had. (sic)"
Efron famously dated fellow High School Musical castmate Vanessa Hudgens for three years, but the couple broke up in December 2010.
A source close to New Year's Eve's Efron has claimed that the actor regrets ever splitting from Hudgens and is interested in rekindling their romance.
Hudgens is currently believed to be dating her Journey 2: The Mysterious Island co-star Josh Hutcherson.
New Year's Eve is released on December 9 in the US and the UK.
