Reid dubbed Turner and Cockerill the "gay mafia", and said that they rarely allowed for him to spend some alone time with his wife.
Responding to the "gay mafia" label, Turner told Heat: "He's welcome to join if he wants! It's people clutching press to keep the ball rolling.
"People can say what they like. There really is nothing wrong with the gay mafia anyway!"
On whether he'd allow Reid to join the "gay mafia", he replied: "Probably not, he tries to sell too many stories, which is sad isn't it?"
Alex Reid recently said that he was "deeply sad" following his marriage break-up with Price.
