Jennifer Aniston joined by Justin Theroux at handprint ceremony

Jennifer Aniston was joined by rumoured boyfriend Justin Theroux at a ceremony in Hollywood to mark her career achievements.

Theroux watched from the front row as Aniston left her hand and footprints outside the Grauman's Chinese Theatre on Thursday.

Aniston told the crowd: "This is very special and I'd like to say to all actors who want to do this, it's really really fun but you have to really want to do it because there is all sorts of stuff that comes along with it.

"I never in my wildest dreams thought I'd be sticking my body in cement for a good reason... This is a huge honour and I'll forever be trying to digest and be grateful, which I am."

Aniston's close friend Chelsea Handler and Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Bateman were among those who paid tribute to her at the public ceremony

Bateman said: "I feel very lucky my future will have Jennifer in it but I don't feel nearly as lucky as the sidewalk. For years long after we are all gone it gets to now include, pored into its rigid cement, a woman whose spirit is every bit as solid, whose integrity is every bit as unbreakable, and whose body is every bit as hard."

Aniston is rumoured to have begun dating Theroux in May. Neither of them have publicly commented on their relationship, although Aniston recently told GMA that she felt "very happy and very lucky" with her personal life.

The actress previously took Theroux to her taping of Inside The Actor's Studio, which premieres Monday, July 11 at 8pm ET/PT on Bravo.
