Former Destiny's Child singer Kelly Rowland has hit out at claims that her biological father is former manager Mathew Knowles.
If true, it would make Rowland the half-sister of bandmate Beyonce, but the singer has labelled the rumours as "lies from the pit of hell".
Rowland told WENN: "My parents' situation was so terrible. I don't know where I would be if my real father was still in my life. He hasn't tried to find me and I have not tried to find him."
The star lived in the Knowles family throughout her teenage years following the break-up of her family.
