Beresford-Redman is accused of killing his wife Monica while the couple were on holiday in Cancun and then dumping her body in a sewage tank.
The television producer travelled back to the US with the couple's two children following Monica's death and has since fought extradition to stand trial in Mexico.
A US Magistrate Judge ruled on Tuesday that there is "probable cause" that Bruce was involved in Monica's death and ordered that he be extradited to face prosecution, reports the Los Angeles Times.
Judge Jacqueline Chooljian made her decision without hearing testimony from Beresford-Redman's 6-year-old daughter, who was expected to testify that scratches on Bruce's arms came from a visit to a sea cave and that screams heard from the family's hotel room on the day of Monica's death were merely part of a child's game.
Bruce's lawyers have already claimed that they will file an immediate appeal, which could delay their client's extradition until 2012.
The defence team allege that Monica's death came during a robbery, while the Assistant US Attorney in charge of the extradition hearing maintained that Bruce murdered his spouse rather than end his rocky marriage with a messy divorce.
Bruce worked on Survivor between 2002 and 2004 and also served as a producer on Pimp My Ride and The Contender.
