Joss Stone: 'Kidnapping plot made life interesting'

Joss Stone has said that being the target of an alleged violent robbery plot has made her life more "interesting".

Two men were charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and rob the singer last month, with police later finding notes detailing plans to "rob and kill" Stone as well as to "find a river to dump her in".

Stone later insisted that she was "fine" following the incident and has since told Entertainment Tonight that she has tried to forget about the attempted crime.

"People are mental, man. But it's alright. This is another story I can add to my list of stories. It makes my life so much more interesting," she said. "You can't fret about things that didn't happen, it just seems a bit silly."

Stone also joked about being flattered to be at the centre of such a plot, adding: "You know, one could say I might take that as a compliment, I don't know how, but I'm figuring it out."

Stone released 'Somehow', the lead single from her upcoming fifth studio album LP1, last month.
