Baldwin, Basinger continue custody drama

American actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger have commenced a new round in their long battle over custody of their daughter.

Baldwin, 48, has accused Basinger of attempting to blocking him from making up time he could not spend with his daughter when she was ill, and also due to his performance in the hit play Entertaining Mr Sloane.

A Los Angeles court granted the actor three extra visitation days with ten-year-old Ireland, but it is evident that tension still exists between the couple.

FemaleFirst quotes Baldwin's lawyer Vicki Greene commenting on Basinger: "She fights him tooth and nail in every single thing because she wants him to not have the time. She's not only not being reasonable, she's not even being nice about it."

Basinger's lawyer Neal Hersh reportedly objected to the actor's claims as under the terms of the couple's divorce missed visits have to be made up within 60 days. The BBC also reports that Hersh accused Baldwin of using his career as an excuse to alter their agreement.
