The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 actor told People that he often feels intimidated when it comes to romance, and that the only exception is co-star Emma Watson, who he sees as a "little sister".
Lewis joked: "You know, girls in general are scarier than Voldemort.
"[But] Emma is like my little sister. We have to vet all her boyfriends to make sure they're good enough for her."
Lewis, who plays Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series, previously revealed that he was "terrified" filming scenes with Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) in the final film
"He was studying my face and I was so frightened. We then went straight into the scene and all that fear in my face was because I was genuinely frightened," Lewis said of the experience. "It suddenly becomes tunnel vision - it's you and Ralph, and you have to do the best you can. I've no idea if it's any good, I don't know, but I loved every minute of it."
