Earlier this month fellow Friends With Benefits actress Mila Kunis received an invitation to the Ball from Sergeant Scott Moore on YouTube, and later accepted after goading from Timberlake.
However, last week Timberlake himself received a YouTube invitation from Corporal Kelsey De Santis.
"I don't feel backed into a corner at all!" Timberlake laughed at a recent press conference. "I'll tell you what, I accept.
"But not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love, and not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to try to intimidate me, although that probably would have worked by itself," Timberlake explained.
"I don't get asked out, ever, so I was very flattered by that," he added. "Yeah, if my schedule works out I'd love to do it. It's an honour, thank you."
The Marine Corps Ball Justin Timberlake is due to attend will take place on November 12, whereas Mila's takes place a week later on November 18.
