Cheryl Cole should give Ashley second chance, says 'TOWIE' star

The Only Way Is Essex star Ellie Redman has revealed that she doesn't blame Cheryl Cole for wanting to give her ex-husband Ashley Cole another chance.

The reality TV star explained that she thinks that the 28-year-old wants to settle down and start a family with the footballer because she's still in love with him.

Redman told Now: "If Cheryl wants to give Ashley another chance I think that's good. She's left it two years and she's not found anyone else she loves.

"I think it's the right time, she probably wants to settle down and have a baby and there's no point doing that with someone you don't love."

The 19-year-old also said that she doesn't think that Cheryl's exit from The X Factor USA will hinder her future career because she is well-loved by the public.

She added: "I think she'll be fine. The public have always loved Cheryl because she's always been so strong and down-to-earth. Cheryl's been through so much, she just needs someone to love and support her."

Cheryl is alleged to have told Ashley that she will only remarry him if he agrees to a £10m "wishlist".
