Ivanka Trump names daughter Arabella Rose

Ivanka Trump has revealed the name of her newborn daughter.

The Celebrity Apprentice judge, who is herself the daughter of American mogul Donald Trump, welcomed her first child with husband Jared Kushner early yesterday morning. Ivanka tweeted the name of the baby girl today, describing the newborn as a "blessing".

"Jared and I are having so much fun playing with our daughter!" Ivanka wrote. "Arabella Rose is beyond adorable. She's truly a blessing."

Shortly before Ivanka's tweet, Donald announced his granddaughter's name on the television show Fox & Friends.

"I just left the hospital and the baby is beautiful. [Ivanka's] doing great," Donald told the programme. "Arabella Rose is the baby's name - I just found that out by the way."

Ivanka recently revealed that she was completely "terrified" of going into labour, confessing that she had avoided thinking about the painful process.

Ivanka's brother Donald Jr is expecting a baby boy with his wife later this year.
