Victim in Lamar Odom car crash dies from injuries

Odom was travelling via a car service in New York City on Saturday when the vehicle collided with a motorcycle, injuring the other motorist as well as the unnamed teenager.
TMZ reports that the 15-year-old victim sustained severe head injuries from the incident and despite undergoing emergency surgery to relieve swelling in the brain, he passed away on Sunday.
A funeral for the boy took place in New York City on Monday and Odom is said to be "devastated" by the tragedy.
LA Lakers star Odom was reportedly visiting the area with his wife Khloe Kardashian for a cousin's funeral.
The couple married in a private Beverly Hills ceremony in 2009. They have been trying to begin a family over the past year, with Odom praising Kardashian for her natural maternal instincts.
