Daniel Radcliffe 'embarrassed himself in front of Amy Poehler'

Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he embarrassed himself in front of Amy Poehler.

In an interview with The Daily Show's Jon Stewart, the Harry Potter star described an encounter with the Parks and Recreation actress in the lobby of his building, admitting that he behaved like an awestruck fan.

"I just had to lean over and say, 'I've got to tell you, I'm a massive fan of The Mighty B!', which is this cartoon that like one person here knows," Radcliffe said, referring to Poehler's Nickelodeon cartoon. "I'm scared to admit that that's perhaps not the one thing that she would have liked me to pick out of her catalogue of work."

Later on in the programme, Radcliffe was confronted with a real-life Quidditch team, who were allowed to ask him anything they wanted.

"Do you feel responsible for my virginity?" one player questioned Radcliffe.

"Yes, I do," Radcliffe answered.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 opened last Friday to an unprecedented $476m (£297m) worldwide in its first weekend of release.

Last week, Radcliffe confessed that he avoids using the London Underground because "it can go a bit nuts".
