Daniel Baldwin's estranged wife given 10-day jail sentence

Daniel Baldwin's wife has been jailed for ten days after violating probation on a DUI charge.

Joanne Baldwin was taken into custody earlier this month in Portland, OR, for drinking while on probation.

The former model was sentenced to ten days behind bars during a hearing on Wednesday, although The AP reports that she will get credit for time served.

Joanne has been in jail since her arrest on July 13 and reports claim that she will be released from custody today.

She will be required to wear an alcohol monitoring bracelet and attend counselling and Alcoholics Anonymous meetings on her release. She told the court that she had been "quite broken of late" and was trying to "fix herself".

Former Cold Case actor Daniel had filed for divorce from Joanne after four years of marriage just before her arrest. The brother of 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin had cited alcohol as one of the reasons behind his decision.

Daniel was not in court for the hearing.
