Hilton, Lohan "seen arguing in bar"

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have been spotted arguing in public.

Hilton apparently took it badly when the actress approached her and pals in Hollywood hotspot Hyde. The socialite and sister Nicky reportedly reacted with fury and demanded Lohan leave them alone.

While TMZ.com speculates Hilton is angry about Lohan dropping her name for publicity, her spokesman Elliot Mintz has claimed there is no issue.

"Paris was having a conversation with a couple of friends," he said. "Lindsay approached her table and at that moment Paris felt she was being interrupted and didn't wish to speak to Lindsay.

"A couple of words were exchanged and Lindsay went back to her table. I can understand how other patrons in the club could have thought it had been a bigger deal than it actually was."
