Kim Kardashian 'protecting her brand by suing Old Navy'

Kim Kardashian is said to be suing the retailer Old Navy in order to protect her brand.

Earlier this week, it was reported that the reality star is planning to sue the retailer for using a look-a-like model in a recent ad campaign. Now, a source has opened up about why Kardashian felt the need to take legal action against the company.

"She's protecting her brand," the insider told Us Weekly. "She can't let another brand use her image to sell clothes!"

The source continued: "She's a businesswoman who has to protect her brand. Bottom line."

Kardashian's ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush is said to be dating the look-a-like model Melissa Molinaro.

The 30-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is engaged to marry NBA basketball player Kris Humphries. The couple will purportedly tie the knot on August 20 in California.
